Job Description

Mid-sized industrial machining company seeks experienced Administrative Assistant to work Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. This position will support the Chief Operating Officer with confidential business matters including composing correspondence, data entry of all company information, answering a multi-line phone system in a professional manner, entering invoices, customer orders, and setting up new customer accounts in company's proprietary system, will be trained. Knowledge of construction industry payroll is a plus. Must be able to multi-task and switch gears at a moment's notice. Strong organizational skills and efficiency are necessary in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Must be reliable and extremely confidential. Drug screen and background check prior to hire. Starting pay is $13/hr increasing to $14 upon hire.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
